“A slide down the dune to the beach”
Casa Nikita, our home from home, which we are sure you will enjoy as much as we do.
It is a fully contained 12 sleeper-house overlooking the reef at Coconut Bay – a walk down the dune places you on the main swimming beach for this part of the coastline.
Coconut Bay is situated 5km along the beach from Guinjata and 20km from Tofo. This makes it the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxed holiday yet within driving distance from restaurants, markets and shops.
Nelson, who looks after our house, is always helpful and my Portuguese pales in comparison to his English. He is here 6 days a week and can help source fish from the locals, if necessary, to discourage them from coming to the property to sell their wares. Fresh bread can be sourced from bakery during peak seasons only.

Traversing the dunes to the house, you require a 4x4, deflating your tyres to 1-bar. You can find it on google maps. (When the sand is particularly hot and loose, and with discretion being the better part of valour, it is often better going down to the beach and exiting up through Coconut Bay resort next door - can save one a lot of hassle).
